Hypertension or in other words high blood pressure is a common problem and many people are suffering from it. If someone is having high blood pressure then it should be controlled before undertaking the procedure. One should consult the physician or cardiologist for controlling the hypertension and once the doctor give the clearance that there is no problem in undergoing the procedure with local anesthesia infiltration, the procedure can be done. For this in addition to other routine pre-operative blood investigation on should also get ECG and renal function test also done. One should keep in mind that if patient is taking any blood thinning medicines then they should be stopped 5-7 days before surgery after consultation with the cardiologist.
