Shall I be coming to Clinic empty stomach for the hair transplant or can I have something before surgery?

It is a general concept that if a surgery is being done in general anesthesia then one should be empty stomach for around 6 hours before surgery. But hair transplant is commonly done under local anesthesia so there is no need of fasting for 6 hours. One can have light breakfast before coming to the clinic. There is no need of stressing oneself due to hunger during surgery also. We generally provide light lunch of patient’s preference during the break and also a juice break is provided at our center so that patient remains relax and comfortable.
